General Dentist
Piedmont Regional Dental Clinic (PRDC), a non-profit dental facility located in the beautiful Piedmont of Virginia (Orange County), is seeking a part-time dentist.
PRDC provides low cost dental care for area residents, offering an Affordable Care Program fee schedule for those without dental insurance, as well as serving children and adults with Virginia Medicaid.
The ideal candidate will perform professional, high-quality dental services to general public patients with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Our dental clinic has state-of-the-art equipment, full-time Dental Assistants on staff and an excellent work environment.
Paid malpractice insurance, paid CE and license renewal is included in this unique opportunity.
Job Duties Provide dental services including but not limited to the following services:
Emergency care for treatment of acute conditions (ie abscesses) Diagnostic-examination of hard and soft tissue, x-rays, occlusal analysis and oral cancer screenings Developing and implementing treatment plans Restorations of teeth that are viable, using composite resin materials Extraction of teeth Pediatric care as appropriate Assure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing dental practice Attend relevant meetings as requested Other assignments as requested by the Clinical Director and/or Board of Directors Education Diploma from an accredited school of dental medicine Licenses/Certifications Current Virginia state dental license Current CPR certification Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
