General Dentist
Piedmont Regional Dental Clinic (PRDC), a non-profit dental facility located in the beautiful Piedmont of Virginia (Orange County), is seeking a part-time dentist.
PRDC provides low cost dental care for area residents, offering an Affordable Care Program fee schedule for those without dental insurance, as well as serving children and adults with Virginia Medicaid.
The ideal candidate will perform professional, high-quality dental services to general public patients with diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Our dental clinic has state-of-the-art equipment, full-time Dental Assistants on staff and an excellent work environment.
Paid malpractice insurance, paid CE and license renewal is included in this unique opportunity.
Job DutiesA' Provide dental services including but not limited to the following services:
Emergency care for treatment of acute conditions (ie abscesses)Diagnostic-examination of hard and soft tissue, x-rays, occlusal analysis and oral cancer screeningsDeveloping and implementing treatment plansRestorations of teeth that are viable, using composite resin materialsExtraction of teethPediatric care as appropriateAssure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing dental practiceAttend relevant meetings as requestedOther assignments as requested by the Clinical Director and/or Board of DirectorsEducationDiploma from an accredited school of dental medicineLicenses/CertificationsCurrent Virginia state dental licenseCurrent CPR certificationA' Job Type:
