Electronics Maintenance

Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots,repairs and modifies production electronic components on manufacturing andassembly equipment such as CNC lathes, mills, winders, and robotic cells???.etc. Abilityto read electrical drawings, PLC ladder logic, and Equipment manuals.
Ability to troubleshoot faulty electronicequipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronics todiagnose cause of malfunction and repair.
Troubleshoots electronic components withsupplied equipment to test circuits to locate defects.
Recommends changes in electronic circuitry orinstallation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
Sets up standard test apparatus or devises testequipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental andlife tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
Analyzesand interprets test data.
Adjusts, calibrates, aligns and modifies electroniccircuitry and components.
Checks functioning of newly installed equipmentto evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
Performs any General Maintenance duties asneeded.
Performs lock out tag out procedures onequipment when being worked on.
Keeps equipment up to date with weekly ormonthly PM schedule.
Attend annual hazardous waste training, ArcFlash, and D.O.T. general awareness training.
Education and/or Experience:
High School degree or equivalent. Associates degree preferred or equivalentfrom two-year college or technical school
1 to 2 years related experience and / ortraining or equivalent combination of education and experience
Goodmath skills required.
Abilityto work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statisticalinference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Abilityto apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions topractical situations.
Abilityto maintain records and reports on computer. Must have a general knowledge ofMicroSoft Office programs.
Ableto connect laptop computer to PLC (Program Logic Controller)
Must be licensed to operate forklift.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
