ANDSS Program Director - Virginia

Join a team that can truly make an impact on the lives of others! As a member of our team, the ANDSS Program Director (PD) supervises the development and operations of programs and services for a given geographical area.
The PD performs liaison functions with referring agencies and is responsible for personnel, financial, and program management functions, as well as daily operations.
The PD ensures all licensure, payer, and accreditation regulations and standards are met in their region.
Qualifications for this position include:
A master's or bachelor's degree in human services discipline, including, but not limited to Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, etc.
5 years of experience working with children and families in the in-home/community-based environment 2 years of supervisory experience A successful candidate for the Program Director position possesses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Exhibits knowledge of expanded principles of program development, fiscal management, personnel policies and practices Demonstrates expertise and knowledge of the principles and practices of clinical services and their effective supervision.
Knowledge of Medicaid and state Payer's guidelines and licensure requirements essential to the operation of a mental health agency Ability to model best practices in leadership with staff, including but not limited to active listening, effective communication, professional boundaries, time management, and collaboration.
Ability to professionally network in community Ability to motivate others towards achieving goals.
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and implement directives for a variety of departments.
Ability to respect and maintain client confidentiality.
Proficiency in computer operations of email, internet use, data entry, word products such as Excel for reporting purposes Ability to evaluate, execute and follow through with well- reasoned decisions that promote the professional integrity of HCA.
Ability to plan and organize daily operations and fiscal activities.
Salary:
$50,000 - $65,000 based on experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
