Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy technicians are a vital part of the daily operations and success of Orange Pharmacy.

People taking care of people!A' Orange Pharmacy is currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians.
Applicants must have a Virginia State License to apply.
PTCB or other national pharmacy technician certification is preferred but not required.
Vaccination certification is a plus but also not required.
Technicians are also part of the delivery team so a valid Virginia driver's license is a must.
A technician may start at $16.
00 or more per hour depending on experience.
Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday 9:
00 to 6:
00 and Saturday 9:
00 -1:
00 and closed on Sundays.
We try to rotate weekends off.
So, if you are off on Saturday, your schedule is Monday through Friday and if you work on Saturday, you have a full day off during the week.
Holidays- Orange Pharmacy is closed on New Year's Day, Labor Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Full-Time employees are paid for the holiday.
Sick Pay - After a 30 day probationary period, Full-Time employees are provided 40 hours of sick pay and Part-Time employees are provided 20 hours of sick pay per calendar year.
Vacation is discussed on date of interview.
Healthcare - Orange Pharmacy offers health insurance to all Full-Time employees after 60 days of employ.
Orange Pharmacy pays 70% of the employee's monthly premium, leaving 30% the responsibility of the employee.
These terms are subject to change in correspondence of our yearly enrollment.
Clear verbal communication skills and a friendly upbeat personality are a must! Pharmacy is stressful and we all know it but your job is to take of the person who has come into our pharmacy wanting to feel better and needing our help.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Answering the telephone Prescription Data Entry Med-Sync (filling all of a patient's meds at one time) Prescription Processing Tech Check and Production Vaccination Clinics Community Events Limited Compounding (non-sterile) Stale Drug Reports Placing and Receiving Pharmacy orders Placing and Receiving Front-Store orders Working the Registers Daily Chore List Employment Type:
